The eighties and nineties hero Saravanan after losing his market made a respectable comeback in Ameer’s ‘Paruthiveeran’ in which he played the paternal uncle of Karthi.
Saravanan signed on as a contestant in the ‘Bigg Boss 3’ and impressed viewers with his rural charm and straightforward thinking.
However, in one of the episodes, he stated in just that he used to brush against female commuters in his college days. A huge furore rose on social media with feminist activists gunning for him and Saravanan apologized in the confession room.
In an unexpected turn of events, Saravanan was forcefully evicted from the ‘Bigg Boss 3’ house citing that his inappropriate comments about women are unacceptable by the organizers.
Media has been trying to get in touch with the star but he has not been reachable so far. Our sources have informed us that Saravanan is in his native Salem and is anguished with the manner in which he was thrown out as he had planned to stay longer and earn some money that would help his family under the current situation.
Saravanan has defended his light-hearted confession that he frankly admitted his mistake so as to advice youngsters not to do it but he did not get an opportunity to finish what he was saying.
At the same time he has shared that his confidence that the general audience are not angry with him and have understood who he really is.
Though regretting going into ‘Bigg Boss 3’ and unceremoniously thrown out, Saravanan is gearing up to come back with more vigour and sign films in the near future. He has also promised to tell all to his fans in interviews very soon.
